Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
